The Do's and Don'ts to Advertising on Facebook

I have watched a few videos from experts over the years that say this way is the best way to advertise on facebook. Just the other day I watched a video of someone using this method and I decided it was time for me to say something and correct it. Every week I get a few people send me this copy and paste message and it is the wrong way to advertise on facebook or any social media for that fact.

What the "experts" are telling people to do is to send out instant messages to your contact list in facebook messenger whether you know them or not . This is how the message goes.

They ask how are you doing? and how is your business going or what kind of business are you in?

If you answer them they will tell you how their business is better and makes more money or will help to grow your business. My video below shows someone who actually did it that day.

They are fishing, they don't care about your business they are just waiting for you to reply so they can spam their business at you.

Now never mind that you did not ask for information about their business, you are on facebook advertising the right way by posting in facebook groups, your timeline etc.That is how they found you they see your a worker and they want you to work for them and make them money.

They are just wasting your time with asking you pointless questions because they don't really care about the business your in. and even when you say my business is great and I am very excited and happy with it and I am only focused on GDI and your not interested in any other company , they still will not take the hint to leave you alone some will continue to bug you to the point of almost harassment.

The only time you should message someone is if you know them and have talked to them before.Maybe they are in your down line or you were in theirs. Then You ask them if you can share something with them, and even then if they look but say no thank you, be polite and say thank you and move on. I can't tell you how many times people have been rued and won't take no for a answer. Really that is not the way a leader or mentor behaves. That is someone who is frustrated because they cannot recruit and they don't know how to be successful , stay away from people like that, their negative attitude will bring you and your business down.

All you need to do is make a post and ask people to comment below for more information. When they do then message them your info or reply to their comment with your link. You maybe making a post with your link in it but people will still ask for information about it by messaging you, of course then message them back they are a really good prospect.

If you advertise the right way, people will ask you for your link or for more information. You Do Not chase people, do not try to convince people that your business is legit and pays. If 20 years of being in business and having a "A" rating with the BBB, sending out affiliates proper tax forms(1099 US) to claim your income on your taxes and being listed on the Fortune 500 doesn't convince them, it;s time to move on to the next prospect. This Business GDI has and always will be a numbers game.



 Your success doesn't depend on you convincing people that this is real and that they need to advertise everyday because this is a business not a hobby. Your success depends on getting your marketing system (capture page system) in front as many eyes as possible everyday and be ready to answer questions or have a sponsor that can assist you with that when someone asks you for more information from a post you did earlier that day. That is the true steps to being a successful marketer on Facebook.
